After waking up WAY early (about 4:30 am to be exact) to go sailing with the Thomas'--I'll post more about that fun adventure tomorrow--we came home had a much deserved nap and then headed off to my parents for the annual BBQ and riverdale fireworks-complete with home made ice cream, YUM! We had a great time hanging out with everyone! The kids had more than their share of black olives (I don't think there was any left when it was actually time to eat--but they always do taste better right off your fingers!), they had fun "driving" grandpa's lawn mower, they made bow and arrows out of fallen tree limbs and yarn, and they had a GREAT time just playing with their cousins and watching the fireworks!! It was a fun evening!
